William W. Gwaltney

William (Bill) Gwaltney grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and served in the United States Navy during Desert Shield and Desert Storm before attending Florida State University.  At Florida State, Mr. Gwaltney graduated with Honors in Political Science and Criminology before attending Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.

While in law school, Mr. Gwaltney completed an internship with the Florida Attorney General’s office where he worked directly for the Statewide Prosecutor on tax enforcement and RICO cases involving complex business and criminal enterprise.  He also clerked for a prestigious small firm in Macon, Georgia, primarily assisting corporate counsel for one of Georgia’s largest insurers.

Following law school, Mr. Gwaltney relocated to South Florida where he began his legal career representing employers in workers’ compensation and employment issues.  He later served as In-house Counsel for a large South Florida real estate investment company where he was involved in the day to day operations of a business with over 300 employees, and negotiated real estate contracts in excess of $100 Million, while overseeing the approximately 4,000 leased properties.

Before leaving South Florida, Mr. Gwaltney worked several years for a large prestigious firm where he assisted small and medium sized businesses and their owners with their legal needs.  He served his clients in transactional and litigation matters, and gained experience in contract drafting and negotiation, as well as operational issues faced by every business owner.

In 2008, Mr. Gwaltney decided to return to his hometown to raise his family and provide legal services to the community he grew up in.  Now his firm focuses on the broad range of legal services his South Florida clients had come to expect, and provides the level of professionalism his clients deserve.
